Please consider that Steinbach products are very popular collectible items that are not stored in warehouses in mass quantities. On some occasions the item will be specially made for you. The high courts in Europe usually have their own special kind of attire. Here in Germany, they dress in red, and in England, they follow the tradition of black and gold. Barristers also wear wigs, just like in olden times, and if it's a really old wig, it's usually made of human hair, although the newer ones are made of horsehair. The price of these wigs can be anywhere from 350 to 2,000 Pounds Sterling.To complete the outfit one needs black stockings and shoes with heels. It's not so easy to find one's way through the social order of the English court. Next to the solicitors, the barristers hold a higher rank or status, and they are also addressed differently. In London, there are four large court jurisdictions and all are autonomous and independent entities. Only the barristers are the attorneys who actually plead cases before the court, while the solicitors are charged with other assignments to work on, on behalf of the barristers. Lately though, these solicitors have been allowed to continue their law studies and take additional examinations in order to secure the right to plead cases before the court themselves. But they haven't won the right to wear a wig. These wigs command respect even to this days and are a quintessential British tradition.
