Christmas Pyramids by Taulin
The Taulin pyramids make hearts soar when the hand-carved little animals and turned figures pass by your eyes again and again in the atmospheric candlelight. Some of the colorfully hand-colored and naturally colored Taulin pyramids are even patent-protected, as both the construction method and the coloring method represent an excellent and unique innovation in Ore Mountain folk art.
Pyramids with their own patent
The templates for Taulin pyramids are created with conscientious and loving handcraft. The diligent designers of the manufactory continuously develop new ideas to create the most beautiful shapes for their Christmas pyramids. Until the finished product leaves the workshop, numerous test series are carried out with the individual pieces to guarantee customers the highest quality.
Airbrush technique: A popular special feature is the airbrush pyramids from Taulin. All Taulin products are now made with this coloring method, for which the company holds its own patent. The colorful pyramids are a real enrichment for Taulin's product range, as the hand-colored specimens are very popular with young and old. The pyramids are carefully painted with the smallest airbrush pistols, creating brilliant colors. The airbrush method also produces beautiful color gradients, which are reflected in the green of the fir branches as well as in the brown tones of the trunk or the stables. Each Taulin pyramid lovingly designed in this process is unique.
Taulin 1-tier pyramids
The classic one-tier pyramids are set under naturally held Christmas trees with colorful figures, lantern children, or carved deer. The craftsmanship of the carved individual parts is evident at first glance. Particularly with the one-story pyramid "Kurrende", the elaborate fretwork is clearly visible. While several small firs with hopping rabbits in between put the Kurrende singers in a forest setting, a mighty tree rises like a protective cloak over the figures. The span tree in the middle of the fir branches cleverly and decoratively hides the axis of the pyramid.
Taulin double pyramids with two winged wheels
The double pyramid, a patented invention by Taulin, wonderfully enriches the repertoire of Ore Mountain folk art. These unique Christmas pyramids captivate with their extraordinarily distinctive design. In this case, two winged wheels spin at different levels above the scenery, setting the platforms below in motion. This sophisticated mechanism creates a lively and fascinating spectacle that captivates both children and adults alike.
In the "Deer in the Forest" model, the tips of the lush firs on the platform touch each other, harmoniously connecting the two scenes. In the "Birth of Christ" pyramid, it is the star of Bethlehem that connects the two parts of the pyramid. These subtle transitions make the pyramids an optical highlight. A natural span tree surrounds the central axis in a slender form and leaves enough space for the artistically carved animals and finely turned figures.
