This is a modern Erzgebirge Christmas pyramid. Since approx. 2009 some Erzgebirge Workshops started to craft modern pieces of the Christmas pyramid. What started out in small numbers has now become an important factor for quite a few workshops. The modern christmas pyramid try to link the traditional handcrafting methods with a modern design. Thiy pyramid with an oriental Nativity setting, colored in a dark brown, is also available in natural wood.
