The family business Geissler in Sehmatal-Sehma was founded in 1997 by Thomas Geissler. The focus of the family run workshop was on the production of window pictures and light arches. The new motifs paired with innovative light technology quickly warmed the hearts of customers. Since 2014, the product range has been manufactured by the company Holzmanufaktur ERM scs GmbH in Crimmitschau in Saxony. The special feature of electric candle arches designed by Thomas Geissler is the decorative upper screen which is ornamented with filigree fretworks, and illuminated by a LED strip. Thus, the upper part creates a luminous background for the scenes depicted on the candle arch. Seen from the backside, the illuminated screen is designed as beautifully as from the front side. Sometimes it shows fir trees under a starry night sky, sometimes a village with illuminated windows. Shapely candles and the relief-like structuring of the wooden arch add further visual accents.

Also, of course, the motif "Nativity" may not be missing. While Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus are placed in the center of the action, from one side a joyful shepherd approaches with his sheep and from the other side the three Magi are already arriving with their heavenly gifts. The design is modern-minimalist and condenses the expression of the figures and the scenery to the essentials - yet it does not lack solemnity: the luminous background on the decorative upper screen conceals a night of twinkling stars rising above the Occident, revealing the silhouettes of palm trees and a magnificent palace.
