Häuselmacher Naumann

In the eastern Erzgebirge community of Rechenberg-Bienenmühle, historic half-timbered houses can not only be found in the streets, but above all in the small workshop store of Häuselmacher (cottage maker) Naumann. In 2000, father Reinmar and son Roman Naumann set up their “Häuselmacherstübel” (cottage maker parlor) in the center of Rechenberg. Since then, the family has been producing miniature half-timbered houses and other buildings from beech and pine wood. Often, real historical models of the Saxon homeland were the godfathers, such as the fortified churches dating from the 15th century and formerly common in the Erzgebirge. Some historical buildings from the Rechenberg village center, such as the "Old School" and the last raftsman's house in the village, are also lovingly recreated at Naumanns. The small wooden houses are given a high degree of authenticity by the exact painting of the beams according to the original construction features of real half-timbered buildings.

The backdrop houses of Naumann Volkskunst are 1 inch narrow and 6.3 inches tall and can be assembled to a whole historical half-timbered town with church, town hall, inn and town gate and offer the ideal backdrop for your favorite figures - be it a Erzgebirge mountain parade of Walter Werner, winter children of Thiel or ULMIK. Also any other figure series can be atmospherically staged with the Naumann miniature backdrop houses. Countless details make the small buildings look lifelike, such as the "City Church" with its friendly yellow paint. The precisely painted patterns of the church windows are a real eye-catcher. The “forge with annex”, the “Lion’s Inn” and the “town hall with half-timbered tower” as well as many other buildings designed by Häuselmacher Naumann impress with their painted half-timbering, architectural subtleties and offer wonderfully colorful details, and a great variety of beautifully ornamented doors matching the motif.
