Erzgebirgische Volkskunst Ralf Zenker

The manufacture of Ralf Zenker, in the famous toy village in Seiffen, is famous for its cute snowmen, made from turned balls. The manufactory was founded in 1990 by Volker Zenker, who at that time still focused on candlesticks and classic snowmen. In 2002, the first designs of a very special genre were created - the Zenker snowman from turned balls was brought to life and the little figures soon became very popular. The company's trademark also remains the decorated tea and candle holders, as well as other Christmas decorations such as Christmas tree ornaments and pyramids. Meanwhile, the range also includes general decorative items such as flower children, beetles, mice and Easter bunnies in colorful variations. The management of the company has been in the hands of Volker's son Ralf Zenker since 2017.

Zenker Snowmen

The cheerful snowmen of Ralf Zenker Volkskunst consist of a body ball with a head and two leg balls. They are hand-painted in traditional white, and equipped with colorful accessories. The lively members of the extensive snowman band play every conceivable instrument from accordion to xylophone. Their colorful headgear is just as varied, whether it's a cap, tin bucket, hat or wooden barrel. Even some snow women mingle in the assortment.

The Zenker snowman bakers are also particularly popular, they bring small delicacies such as the gingerbread house, coffee and cake or a gingerbread heart. Despite being a man of winter, each of the 8 cm tall snowmen brings warmth and cheerfulness to any living room with his kind smile and colorful accessories.

Zenker Christmas Tree Ornaments

The Zenker snowmen can also be purchased as tiny Christmas tree ornaments. The set of 3 "tree ornaments snowman in the swing" provides cheerful action on the Christmas tree.
