Herrnhuter Moravian stars I4
The IA Moravian stars for indoor use are only medium in size - but quite a big eye-catcher! The paper stars from Herrnhuter have a diameter of 15.70 inches and are perfect for decorating private living rooms and hallways. Hanging several I4 stars can even turn the room into a soft oasis of light. After Christmas, you can disassemble the star again to save space. But you do not have to, because with the separately available storage box you can also safely store the completely assembled star.
The star of Bethlehem is the leading symbol in the Christian Christmas story. Therefore, stars are the Christmas decoration par excellence, not only from an aesthetic point of view. The three wise men in the biblical story were guided through the desert by a star, and seafarers and pioneers of previously undiscovered territories have also relied on the stars for orientation. The star has a guiding character that has given light and confidence to people since the beginning of time.
Herrnhuter Sterne from the region Upper Lusatia sells paper and plastic advent stars, design products and small gift ideas.
Herrnhuter Moravian Advent stars
Herrnhuter moravian stars are a beautiful and symbilic decoration - not only for the Advent season, but also for the whole year. The simple stars shine far beyond the Ore Mountains. In the Herrnhut manufactory, the stars are expertly folded and glued until the artistic stars with large and no spikes are ready for worldwide shipping.
Assembly is simple and extremely stable due to the ingenious design. 17 square and 8 triangular spikes support the design firmly and solidly after self-assembly. The included snap clamps and cardboard frames make the stars easy to assemble. Herrnhuter Stars can be disassembled after the Christmas season or stored in Herrnhuter's custom-made storage boxes.
Herrnhuter Star for inside use 15.7 inches
Herrnhuter Stars I4 are the smallest of the manufacturer's paper stars. Therefore they are especially suitable for smaller rooms, hallways and as a gift idea. Also in the children's room, these colored "suns" are an atmospheric as well as pictorial illumination for reading a Christmas story in the evening.
The I4 advent stars are suitable for indoor use only. As in the past, the star is made of filigree translucent paper and is still made by hand. The paper stars are available in seven different colors. Herrnhuter paper moravian stars with color combinations such as white/red and yellow/red are no less attractive variants of the single-color copies.
Included are 25 prongs, clamps and instructions. The matching bulb (with E14 socket) is optionally available in our shop.
Accessories for 40cm Star
Accessories for the 40cm Herrnhuter Star include a cable with LED light. An E14 LED bulb is included. The cable measures 4cm and is, like the star, only suitable for indoor use.
The star can also be purchased in a customized storage box. This box protects the star from crushing and other damage when not in use. The dimensions of the box for the I4 Star are 17.3x17.3x15.4 inches.
About the Herrnhuter Company
The first Herrnhuter Star from Upper Lusatia was made by Pieter Hendrik Verbeek in 1897, who at this time ran a book and music store in Herrnhut. At that time, the Herrnhuter Star was distributed - initially by the Herrnhuter Mission Bookstore - in five different colors and two sizes, and was found primarily in Protestant churches and private homes. In 1925, the original portable Herrnhuter Star was patented.
In the 20th century, Verbeek's son founded the "Stern-Gesellschaft mbH Herrnhut" and continued to develop the star design. After nationalization and reclamation, the company - now as a limited liability company - ventured a new start around 1989 with 23 employees, renewed sales and modernized production processes. Due to the great success the business grew quickly and could expand. In 2010, the production and show workshop were merged. Today, the beloved Herrnhuter Star shines as a Christmas and Advent decoration at countless Christmas markets, shopping malls and town halls. The company produces 700,000 Herrnhuter advent stars per year which are sold not only within Germany, but also worldwide.
